March Randoms...

A few random March shots from my iphone...as you can tell...I take a lot of photos of Cooper.  He is with me most of the day.  I need to take more of Brooklyn and Easton...I'll work on that.

He loves the shop! And driving daddy's car.

We had another leak in the house...third water leak in 3 weeks. Two outside (freezing) and then the hot water pipe cracked in the laundry room. It was a fun surprise for me to clean up one afternoon!  I had a stack of 5 beach towels and they were soaked...they saved us from a lot of damage!  Eric was Mr. Fixer and Cooper loved it watch him!

Eric was cutting wood...Cooper loves to watch him...even from the Window!

 Having fun!

SEE...he is a climber!  And a scary one at that.

Again a climber...

Easton is collecting golf balls so he can go golfing with Papa when he comes in June.

Happy 9th Birthday Brooklyn!

She's 9 years old..Really?  Where did the time go?

I really tried to make her birthday a fun one, since it was the non-party year.  I took her to lunch (Subway), took cupcakes to class and then made her dinner (rice and chicken).  The cake didn't turn out very pretty, but at least she had one. The pudding didn't set right so it was runny. Oh well..it tasted good anyways.

We decided to give her money this year and she could save up for something special.  I wanted to make it fun though and not just open a card with some cash. So I put each bill in a balloon and she had to pop away. She loved it.  And Cooper had a great time helping too!

Happy birthday sweetie! Love you!

A scrapbook Grandma Jo sent. She is excited to make it!

Girls Night!

Kathy planned a girls night out for Brianne before she had her baby.  We went to Santa Rosa and went to dinner and then to the movies. We saw "This Means War." It was a good, funny movie with Reese Witherspoon. We enjoyed it.  It was a fun evening of talking, laughing and of course eating!

Jessica came last minute...and I am so glad she did.  Her doctor had moved her due date up two weeks...so at this point she was two weeks overdue.  She was ready for a night out.  We had lots of baby and labor talk and ways to start that labor.  We were almost going to stop and buy her the castro oil on the way home.  At church the next day, I got a text that she had her baby boy that morning. So exciting!  See...all she needed was a girls night out!  I will remember that in May!

The Pregnant Mommies..
Brianne (2 weeks from due date), Me (2.5 months to due date) and Jessica (Due!)
Looks like we are all ready to pop...not me...still have lots of time.
With the rest of the girls!
Side note...Brianne had her baby only a few days after her due date March 22.  Everyone I knew who was pregnant had their babies in March/Early April.  I am the only one left pregnant. I felt sorry for myself for a bit but got over it.  Cooper keeps me busy enough.  Alex and Amanda had their baby on March 23rd and Mike and Shawna had their baby on April 2nd.  It must be baby season!

A little surprise for daddy!

I thought it would be a fun surprise to get our pictures taken for Eric.  So I took the kids to JC Penney's...(I know you are asking why I didn't just take them myself...my kids do much better for someone else and Groupon had a great deal..well until you show up and they sucker you into buying the CD..oh well...they were worth it.)

I thought they turned out cute. The kids did great.  I wanted some of Cooper alone since I never did his one year shots.  He was a handful...but they also show his personality.

February 2012.
Mom 27 weeks pregnant.  Cooper 15 months old.
Brooklyn almost 9 and Easton almost 7 years old.

Oh...Cooper!

I have a toddler...already!  He keeps me on my toes...ALL the time...unless he is sleeping!  He is a funny little boy. He makes us laugh!

The last week has been no fun...he hasn't been his playful fun self. He has been a teething wreck.  On Thursday night, I went to check on him and I felt his head and he was BURNING HOT.  I couldn't believe it. He was sleeping but making noises like he wasn't comfortable. So I found the thermometer and took his temperature. I have the one that goes across his forehead, I did that and it read over 105. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Are you kidding me. I immediately got Eric up and we put him in the bath...which he hated. He was sooo tired.  We also gave him some medicine.  I found another thermometer to see how off that forehead one was.  So after about 15 minutes in a warm/cool bath we took his temperature in his bum and it was 103.6.  Holy Cow...that is still super high for being in the bath to cool down.  I called the nurse hotline with our insurance and she told us to watch him closely and keep taking his temperature and if it got over 104 again, to take him to the hospital.  It was a scary night.  His temperature kept going up and down around 102-103 but never over 103 again.  I woke up every two hours to check on him.  And by morning it was only 100.  He still didn't act normal though. Not his normal outgoing happy self.  He has had a little runny nose and cough for the last week..but it wasn't bad enough to cause a fever like that.  I could tell his teeth were hurting. He didn't want to eat or drink anything.  Saturday we went car shopping, and that was a mistake...Cooper screamed in the car. His teeth were hurting so bad that he would just put his hand up to his mouth and scream in pain.  We finally had to stop and get Orajel because the medicine wasn't taking the pain away enough.  So basically, for the last 5 days he has been fussy, waking up multiple times at night, crying, not eating or drinking like normal...fun times.  I can see 3 teeth coming in...all three are the first molars...poor kid. I can feel one that has broken through the skin.  Yesterday and today are the first days he has started to eat normal and act like himself. He is playing, running, sleeping, eating and making messes again! Our Cooper is back...well that is until the teeth start to cause problems again. Gotta love teething..I know I DO NOT!

*Update...as a result of this fever episode...Cooper now has 4 molars..they all came in at the same time. No wonder he was so hot and miserable. Poor kid!

"Hey don't take a picture of me...I don't feel good."

A few things about Cooper at his age of 1 (13-14months).

*He doesn't really talk much yet...he only says "Dadda and Momma"

*Cooper loves to play..especially with Easton's big boy toys.  "Let's BOX Daddy!"

*Gotta LOVE some naked Baby Bum!  He loves his bath time with Daddy.  Daddy give him his baths every night after dinner.  Daddy likes it and Cooper does too!

*Cooper is a climber!  He climbs on everything he can..the kitchen table, my office desk, his chair in his room,...if he wants something, he will figure out how to get to it.  He is smart!  He LOVES Brooklyn's room.  I went in there and found Cooper like this...Crazy kid!  That is a rocking chair...he has good balance I guess!  He loves going outside...He actually can open the front door now by himself and walk out...NICE!  When Daddy comes home, he wants to either go outside with him or down in his shop.  He knows mommy doesn't take him outside unless we go on a walk. Which is loves too!

*More teething drama from a couple of weeks ago...Doesn't Cooper look happy here in the bath?  Well this was at 12:30 in the afternoon when he woke up! Yes, he slept in until 12:30.  Well...because he was up CRYING and SCREAMING from 1:00-5:30am.  We couldn't figure out what to do to make him feel better. We gave him medicine, we tried to feed him, we tried to hold him, rock him, nothing helped. He just cried and cried for 4 hours. It was horrible. Eric couldn't sleep so he tried to help, but nothing would help.  He finally fell back to sleep around 5:30 and fussed a little until 7:00 but then I didn't hear anything until 12:30.  It was the hardest night of my life. I was sooo tired and didn't know what to do. I felt so bad for him. These teeth are really causing him problems. Just come in and leave him alone!

*Cooper LOVES bananas. They are his favorite.  Eric gave him a whole banana and he figured out how to open it. It was funny to watch. He loved it.

*He doesn't love all food though...he is a picky eater. If he doesn't like it...it comes OUT of his mouth and he throws it on the floor. It drives us crazy.  I wish he would eat whatever...but he won't. His favorite foods are bananas, raisins, cheese tortillas, fruit and baby cheese puffs.

*His Smile is precious! I love it!  I love it when he is a happy little boy!

See...I told you he keeps us busy!!!!
