Nascar Sprint Cup Race...

Our friends, the Joy and Keith Astill had some extra tickets to a NASCAR Race in Sonoma. It was a big race...it was totally cool. The race track was huge. There weren't any big accidents...which were kind of hoping for to add some excitement. It was really loud. Glad we bought some good ear muffs for Cooper.  We enjoyed the race a lot. The kids were bored for some of it...but they had a great time walking around the track afterwards. I am pretty sure we walked miles and miles...but totally worth it.

I was excited that Jeff Gordon was there...he didn't win though.

 

The parking was insane...parking all over the rolling hills. Didn't take too long to get out but then it took forever to get home. Added an extra hour plus to get home. It was a long day but a lot of fun. Thanks Joy and Keith for the tickets!

Fun times in Utah...

We had a great time in Utah...the first couple days were crazy with bridal shower, family photos, wedding dinner, wedding, reception, family pictures and then baptism...by Sunday I was ready for a nap. Eric flew out Monday for a work trip, so I stayed in Utah for two more weeks. We had a great time with family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Happy Birthday Eric...this is all he got. He was a great sport to spend his birthday with family and baptisms. He went to dinner with his parents and siblings that night. He loved that.

 Daddy was missing us...he sent us a picture to say hello from Cali.

Daddy thought we were driving home Sunday...but that was Father's Day...so I wanted to surprise him and come home Saturday Night. I drove all day with 4 kids...it was a long day. But the kids did great. The car was packed!

 

We got home at 10pm and totally ruined Eric's surprise. He had been working all day to surprise us when we came home.  He wasn't very happy we came home early and ruined his surprises.  He was actually blowing up balloons when we got home.  I felt bad I ruined his surprise but I wanted to be home on Father's Day with him.

 

 

 

It was nice to be home!

Tim McGraw Concert...

Brittney talked me into staying a few extra days so we could go see Tim McGraw together (Eric of course was supportive and wanted me stay)...Brittney and I are concert buddies! or junkies...whatever you want to call it.  This was our first time being in the PIT...it was so much fun. A little squishy but luckily it was outdoors so fresh air helped. Seeing Tim that close was totally worth it! Opening acts were great. Tim was of course Great! A fun night with my concert buddy! I love that Brittney and I are such good friends...been friends for 24 years. We were already planning our next concert...

 

 

 

 

 

Dino Museum

Since Cooper really likes dinosaurs (his favorite show right now is Dinosaur Train), I wanted to take him to the Dino Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Brittney and her boys, Hayden and Dylan came with us. We had a great time. It was busy with the two little guys but we managed and survived. Thankfully it wasn't busy.  (Brooklyn went to St. George with Grandma)
