6 Months down...3 to go!

He's getting closer...only 3 months left.  Before I know it..I will have another baby boy!

And HE is another active little guy...I can already tell.  He is kicking, twisting, turning, jumping, who knows what in there...all I know is my belly is always moving and I can feel bumps pop out...like little hands, feet, elbows...it really is the weirdest/coolest feeling to have something move inside of you like that.  I am trying to enjoy it...since this is the last time I will experience it.  I do enjoy being pregnant. I have it pretty easy.  And at this stage, he has some extra room to wiggle and he is sure taking advantage of that. I am sure in a couple of weeks, he might be a little more squished and less active.

6 Months (27 weeks pregnant)

President's Week..."Ski Week"

So our school was out for a week, they called it "President's Week."  But really it was "Ski Week."  Why???  We just had Christmas Break and then they are off again.  And then again in April for a week for Spring Break.  I don't like that it cuts our summer break down.  It isn't really necessary..in my opinion.  I wanted to take the kids to do something fun.  So we headed to Santa Rosa one day.  They hate driving there...but I made them.  We had a special stop to make first...more to come lady about that. And I told them if they were good we would go to Scandia and play before we did our Costco run.  They love Scandia and I had bought a 50% off on Groupon.  So the kids were excited to do the boat ride (which soaked them) and then play arcade games for about an hour.  They loved it.  Cooper loved it too.  He loves to pretend to drive the cars.  He loves stirring wheels.

It seems like I am always posting about Cooper and not about Brooklyn and Easton. So a little quite update on them...
Easton has started baseball.  He is on the Astros.  He is excited!  He still loves the wii, playing with friends and loves to play "pig" basketball.  He loves to create things with his legos.  He is a great reader and is doing well in school.
Brooklyn does girl scouts, which keeps her busy. Especially right now with Cookie Sales.  She has sold almost 150 boxes...not bad.  She loves achievement days and always looks forward to the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  She is a big helper with Cooper.  She still loves horses!  We are working on memorizing multiplication facts and once she does...she will earn horse riding lessons.  She loves to play with her friends. I am asked every day if the friends can come over.  They are here a lot.

Both kids still love to fight and drive me crazy...but I love them!

Love Day!

AKA...Valentines!

The Friday before, Eric took me to dinner in Kelseyville to the "Saw Shop."  We have been their once before and liked the food.  This time was a little different. It was just ok.  They change their menu often so they didn't have our "loaded fries" that we liked before and we were excited about. But the chef made them anyways for us...which was nice.  They were the best part of the meal.  Dinner was nice.  Enjoying an evening with Eric was even better!  The Cherry's watched our kids for our...so thankful! It's hard to go out and also pay for babysitting...it almost makes it impossible on the budget.  So they were very nice and watched the kids.  I am always up for trading babysitting...just throwing it out there any local peeps!

On Valentines, I drove to Lakeport and did my glucose test.  Exciting...I know!  Fasting and sitting in a office for 3 hours...so much fun!  I am glad it is over.  And a big thanks to Brianne for watching Cooper. The kids loved having their valentines parties at school..even though Easton's teacher said No candy.  What...everyone gets candy with valentines!  It's hard when his sister comes home with a bag full and he has none.  Some teachers! I cooked a nice dinner and dessert for the special occasion.

I wasn't expecting anything from Eric.  Dinner was enough for me.  That's all I want...a date night!  Eric has never been a "Valentine's Guy."  He thinks it's a day that guys are pressured into buying something and it shouldn't be forced...they should want to do it any day of the year.  Which I agree..but you can do something small...you don't have to spend $50 on roses and chocolates.  I heard on the radio driving back from my appointment that a guy said "Valentines is the worse day of the year for guys...they can't win...whatever they do isn't good enough."  I could totally hear Eric saying that.  I am glad the ladies don't have a holiday they are responsible for.  And don't get me wrong...Valentines is not all about the guys buying flowers for the wife. It should go the other way around too.  But I will say...at Safeway on Valentine's...there was like 20 guys in the floral department and not one lady.  I think the guys have it hard...they have a lot of pressure on Valentines.  What can I say...Ladies like a little LOVE!  So it is worth a little effort!

Eric did surprise me...he came home with tulips.  Smart guy!  He really does know me after 10 years...I am NOT a rose person. Once in a while they are great. But NOT on Valentines when they double the price. I love tulips, daisy's and mixed colorful flowers.  So I was very happy when he came home with some tulips.  And then he disappeared into his shop for 20 minutes.  He came up with a gift...creative man he is. He made me a metal sign.."LOVE". I love it! So cute and simple!

Thanks Love!  You made my Love Day Special!!!!!

Our Little Artist!

I am amazed how similar all my babies act at age 1! They all have had the same personality.  They were all very active, outgoing, opinionated, determined, daring, loud, outspoken, funny, creative, and Alot of work! Easton loved to color..Cooper loves to color! Easton use to color on everything though...walls, couches, etc...I am hoping Cooper doesn't love it that much!

Cooper grabbed a sharpie out of my office drawer and started to draw on the paper that was on the floor. Smart little guy.  He loved it. I gave him a few colors and he went to town. He was so excited that I let him color and didn't just take the marker away like usual.  What an Artist!

Since I am sharing coloring stories...He also loves to eat markers...crayola to be exact.  I have caught him a couple of times with a marker in his mouth.  His hands and face all colorful! Thankfully...thanks to google...they are not toxic or harmful.  I think I am going to have to put ALL markers and pens up higher!  Oh and pencils..he loves to chew the erasers off...crazy kid!  He spits it out, but still bits it off. It's not as easy to keep things out of his reach when the older kids use them so much for homework and projects.  Welcome to my crazy life with a toddler!  What will I do with another coming????? I'm going to go CRAZY!  Ok..I already am!
