Lake Powell 2013

Lake Powell 2013 was great like it always is! Perfect weather, Perfect Company, Lots of Food, Dancing, Firework making, Sand Castles, Tubing, and Swimming...

For the first time I didn't take a lot of pictures this year...I think with two little boys, I spent my time and extra hands holding and taking care of them. I took a few pictures here and there..I realized that sometimes I need to just enjoy the moment and remember it that way.

Until Next Year...

Celebrating 12 years!!!

12 Years Ago...I married this handsome man!
Where did the time go?
I can still remember this day like it was yesterday...I remember how HAPPY I was.  It was a perfect day!

12 years of marriage, 4 kids later, one crazy happy life!

I will be honest, it hasn't been easy...but I can say I am in love with Eric more today then ever...every marriage has ups and downs...but the important thing is to remember we love each other and we can work it out. And to be HAPPY! We still have things to work on..but I would say this has been our best year yet! Our life is crazy but it is our life and we embrace it. Even in the hard times.

We celebrated our anniversary in St. George. We went to dinner and enjoyed each others company. We did something we have never done before...we sat down at a really nice restaurant and after looking at the menu we decided it wasn't our style. The waiter was very nice and told us of their other restaurant that we would probably like. So we walked a couple doors down and instantly knew it was our kind of restaurant as soon as we walked in. The food was great. We had a nice time chatting and spending time together. It was a very nice date with my love!

Camping and Rafting with the Girl Scouts

Mother/Daughter Girl Scout Rafting Trip

I went with Brooklyn camping and rafting...yes I slept in a tent...Surprises me too!

We had a great time. The rafting was really mellow but perfect for girl scouts. We had a really good time.  Rafting without a lot of current is a lot of work...rowing is hard work...especially with only two adults and a bunch of girls...basically Joy and I did most of the rowing. It was a great workout. We were so tired by the end of the day.

Our rafting guide was super cool. A little flirty but very nice. (Hannah said "He was a little creepy because he kept hitting on your mom Brooklyn."..hehe) He was a lot of fun with the girls. They played games, took a lot of swimming breaks and even let them flip over the raft. They loved that.

There was one fun adventure rapid...it was a fun one...but all the rafts got stuck. We were on of the last ones and tried to get through...we had to paddle really fast...we almost made it but got stuck too.  Our raft had a waterfall inside of it. It was exciting. We were getting rushed in with water...the other guides helped our girls out of the raft..it was exciting. Luckily no one got hurt. Then Joy and I stayed on and helped the guide off the rock..it was fun. It was the most exciting part of the whole day.

Independence Day 2013

We had a nice 4th of July weekend. We didn't do much...and we were just happy with that.

We started the holiday off by going to the Allred's annual 4th of July Breakfast...which we love. It's great to share the morning with friends! And fill our tummy's with yummy food.

Fireworks in Lakeport...

Hidden Valley did fireworks a couple days later...Ryder was sleeping so Eric stayed home with him, Brooklyn and Easton were at the lake with friends, so Cooper and I went to the damn and watched the fireworks. Just the two of us. He loved them. We were even in our pjs.
