The kids had their annual Halloween School Parade. Can you tell how excited they were to see me?
"What are you doing here, " Easton yells. Nice!
"Hi Cooper." Brooklyn yells. Not even a "hi mom."Halloween was a weather disaster...it poured rain...and I mean just poured and didn't stop for one minute all night. I helped plan the ward Halloween party at the Leese's house. It was suppose to be outside, well it had to be moved into the garage. We were nice and cozy. We had dinner, a movie playing, games, costume prizes, pie eating contest, a maze and then trick-or-treating on a hayride. (I was lucky and stayed back with Ryder..Eric got soaked with the kids..he was a good sport) The party was still fun even though the rain was a bummer. Next year it will be better!
The pie eating contest is always really fun!
Ready Set...
GOOOOO...
Eric and Jake dominated!
It was a fun and wet night! One positive things about the rain..they got less candy...way less! I didn't mind a bit when it came to the candy. And after the party we came home and Brooklyn and Easton handed out candy to the trick or treaters. We ran out and they loved handing out the candy so much that they started to hand out their own candy. Nothing like recycling candy. A good way to save money and your teeth. Love it!
