Spring Break in Monterey!

The Morgan's were very kind and brave to invite us down for Spring Break.  The kids were so excited to see their friends and of course, I was really excited to see mine too!

After the long drive in the car, we headed to Dennis the Menace Park. It is the coolest park I have ever seen. So much fun and so big. The weather was perfect!  Cooper loved the slides and playing in the sand.

Tuesday we headed to the Aquarium.  It was busy but the kids had a great time. My favorite part was watching them feed the fish.  The school of fishes were amazing.  And the big turtle!

Brooklyn and her little buddy, Liam.
Wednesday, Kara and I went to breakfast in Carmel to a little place called, Little Swiss Cafe. My cousin had posted that they had great eggs benedict and I wanted to try them.  So Dan was kind enough to watch the kids and take them to his school to play in the gym while Kara and I had sometime to just talk.  After Cooper's nap, we took the kids to "My Museum" A discovery Museum for kids. It was a lot of fun for the kids. Lots of make believe, golf, slides, and balls!

Thursday was Easton's 7th Birthday! He was excited to spend it with his friend Avery.  We went to the library in the morning for storytime, then after Cooper's nap we went to a bouncy place so the kids could go wild. They had a good time. Easton hurt his back a little bit but took some time playing arcade games.  After the bouncy fun we went to a frozen yogurt shop and had frozen yogurt..before dinner I might add.  The kids ended the day with watching a movie before bed.  It was a fun filled birthday day for Easton!

We had a great time in Monterey with our friends...a big Thank You to the Morgan's for being such great hosts and friends!
